How Do You Screenshot On an iPhone 12 Pro Max?

There are 3 different ways to do this, and they include:

Method 1: Press Button Combinations

Try pressing the Volume Up and Lock button at the same time. There will be a screenshot sound and your display will turn white for a second.

Once you capture the screen, a preview of it will appear on the lower part of your display. Open it to edit or share it.

Assistive Touch is a pretty cool iOS feature. It helps users who have dexterity issues navigate their mobiles.

Just know that Assistive Touch isn't automatically switched on. You'll have to manually enable it. Here's how you can do this:

• Go to Settings > Accessibility
• Select Touch
• Enable Assistive Touch

The Assistive Touch custom icon would be locked to your display. You can set it up so that when you single or double tap it, it captures your screen.

Here's how you can do this:

• Go to Accessibility > Touch
• Scroll down. You will see Single-tap, Double-tap and Long Press
• If you want a capture to be a double tap, click Double Tap
• Scroll down and select Screenshot option

Also, you can connect a joystick or pointer device to press the Assistive Touch button for you.

Method 3 : Use Tap

What iOS version does your device run? It'll come with the Tap feature if it runs iOS 14.

You can use Tap to take a screenshot. You'll be able to double or triple tap anywhere on your iPhone screen to take capture it, open the control center and much more.

As mentioned, the feature is only available on iOS 14. You'll have to update your Apple device if it runs an older OS version.

Here's how you can update an Apple iPhone:

• Connect the handset to the internet (make sure it's a stable internet connection or you may face issues)
• Open the Settings app on the home screen
• Go to General
• Click on Software Update
• Tap Install Now
• You might be asked for your device's password

Afterwards, your iPhone will restart.

Once that's done, here's how you can set up Tap to take a screenshot or screen capture:

• Go to Settings > Accessibility
• Select Touch
• Scroll down until you find Back Tap
• Select Double or Triple tap

Here's how to delete a captured screenshot:

• Launch the Photos App

• Open the webpage you're interested in
• Take a screenshot (use any of the methods I discussed)
• A screenshot preview should appear on the bottom corner of the display. Click it
• Click on Full Page to see the full captured image (on the top right corner)
• If you want to cut a part of the complete capture out, click Crop

Just know that the feature works on only the Apple Safari browser's webpages.

How Do I Share A Screenshot?

There are two ways to do this:

Method 1:

• Right after the capture, immediately click and hold the thumbnail on the bottom of the display
• The option to share it with apps would appear

Method 2:

• Launch the Photos App
• Open Albums (on the lower left corner)
• Scroll down until you see the Screenshots folder
• Tap on the screen capture in question
• Click Share

How Do I Edit a Screenshot?

When you capture the screen and open the preview that pops up on the bottom corner, the screenshot editor will open. There will be a number of editing options. You can add text, arrows, a comment bubble or even draw on the image.
