Calculations:

Let the third number be 100

First number = 100 + 25% of 100

First number = (25/100) × 100 + 100

⇒ 25 + 100 = 125

Second number = 100 + 50% of 100

Second number = (50/100) × 100 + 100

⇒ 50 + 100 = 150

The ratio of first to the second number = 125 ∶ 150 ⇒ 5 ∶ 6

∴ The ratio of the first number to the second number is 5 ∶ 6
