Dear Student, There are many similarities between the power sharing features with respect to Belgium and India. In Belgium, the central government provide representation to various linguistic groups and in India also the central government represents various sections of the society. Some special laws with respect to central government in Belgium require the support of majority members from each linguistic group and in India also the constitutional amendments require special majority from both houses of the Parliament. In Belgium, there is a clear division of governments at different levels, central and state and in India as well there is a federal system of government where powers are being divided among the central and state governments. The features that articulate that the power is shared among the governments at different levels and the power is shared among different social groups are considered as the common features between the Indian and Belgium form of power sharing.
