How do I get my Facebook page to show my address?

Facebook allows your business to connect with customers from around the world. However, Facebook prohibits running a business from a personal Timeline; the site supplies business pages for that purpose. Your personal Timeline is under your real name, while your business page and any other groups or pages you run appear under other names. Facebook assigns a numerical identity to a new business page, but you can create a user-friendly URL for your business page. This allows customers to better locate and remember your Facebook business page.

  1. 1.

Navigate to Facebook on your Internet browser. Sign in and access the business page whose page address you are changing.

  2. 2.

Click "Edit Page" near the top of the screen.

  3. 3.

Click "Update Info" from the drop-down menu.

  4. 4.

Click "Create a username for this page?" located in the "Username" section located near the top of the screen.

  5. 5.

Type your preferred username in the block provided.

  6. 6.

Click "Check Availability" to make sure the page name you want is not taken. If it is, you must select a new name.

  7. 7.

Click "Confirm" to save your changes. Your page's Web address is automatically and instantly updated to reflect the user name you chose.

Can’t add or change business location to Facebook pages

There are two main reasons why you might not be able to add a location or address to a Facebook page.

The first one is that your Facebook page is a public figure or community page that doesn’t support adding a physical address to your Facebook page.

Facebook business or brand page vs public figure page

In this case, you would have to change the Facebook page category to be able to do so.

The second reason that might prevent you from adding a physical address to your Facebook page is that you don’t have the necessary Facebook page role to do so. You have to be a Facebook page admin to be able to add or change a location to your Facebook page

So either send this tutorial to the Facebook page admin or request admin access to the Facebook page.
