All Michigan Medicine faculty, staff, and students can access the following Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Creative Cloud. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is installed and updated monthly on HITS CoreImage computers. It does not require a login. accessing the Creative Cloud Desktop Application (CCDA). Following a one-time access request, the CCDA can be accessed anytime using HITS-managed devices including PCs, Macs, and mobile devices, by logging in with your "@umich" email address and UMICH (Level-1) password. UninstallationIn order to uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud, you must uninstall all the Adobe apps first. You will not be able to uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud if there are apps still installed on your computer. Do you need Adobe Creative Cloud for Acrobat?Acrobat Pro is available through Adobe Creative Cloud, which provides access to the latest versions of Creative applications on a membership basis. Many Adobe Creative Cloud plans include Acrobat Pro with Adobe Acrobat online services.
Is there a non cloud version of Adobe Acrobat?Yes. Acrobat 2020 desktop software is available as a one-time purchase. It does not include quarterly Acrobat feature enhancements or access to premium Adobe Document Cloud services like Acrobat Sign via your web browser and mobile devices.
Can I uninstall Creative Cloud and keep Acrobat?So, if you're planning on uninstalling Adobe Creative Cloud, you can still keep Photoshop and all of your other Adobe applications. Just make sure to back up your files before you uninstall so that you don't lose any important work.
Can you use Adobe Acrobat offline?Also, most of the common office software suites don't require an internet connection. Adobe Acrobat, for example, lets you work on PDFs offline.
